Answer

If you are a Chico State student, faculty member or staff member, then you can access all of our databases from the Library Home page. When there, click on Databases A - Z, on the right side of the page under "Search For." This will take you to a page with an alphabetical list of all of our databases.

If you are off campus you will be asked to log in with your Portal ID and password.

There are several Ebsco (also known as EbscoHost) databases avaible at the Meriam Library. If you have been instructed to go to an "Ebsco Database" please follow these steps

1) Do you have a specific database title? If so, look for the title on the A-Z database list. Common Ebsco databases are:

   Academic Search Premier

   SocINDEX

   ERIC

   PsycINFO

   CINAHL

   Social Work Abstracts

2) Search the box on the library's homepage, it includes all Ebsco databases.

3) What is the subject of the information you are looking for? You will find Ebsco databases listed for each subject on the Databases by subject page. Just select the closest subject and open each database to see if it is an Ebsco database.

4) Want to ask a librarian? Please contact us via email, phone, chat or in person: http://libanswers.csuchico.edu/
