I'm doing a research paper on vegetarian diets and meat based diets with protein amounts can I get some help?
Yes. You certainly can get help! You have several options.
1.Come to the Reference Desk for help with a librarian anytime between 10 am - 5 pm (Monday - Thursday) and 10-3 (Friday). You will receive one-on-one free advice on search strategies and demonstration of how to select the best databases and how to search them.
2. Contact your Subject Specialist librarian by starting with the Articles & Databases by Subject page at http://library.calstate.edu/chico/ . For example, if you class is Nutrition, your librarian is Donna Greenberg firstname.lastname@example.org or 530-898-4338.
3. Use the SEARCH EVERYTHING (Discover) search box on the front page of the ReSearch Station library home page. You can try these searches without putting the AND in between concepts. However, you do need to put quotes around phrases. Thus: "vegetarian diet" protein (etc.)
Hope these suggestions help you get started. Please come by the Reference Desk or your subject librarian, Donna, for one-on-one consultation and help.
