Can I check out books and access research journals if I am not a student or professor?
It is possible to obtain a Non-affiliated User's (NAU) card as long as you can meet the criteria. The card enables you to check out books from the circulating collection, but does not provide remote access to licensed journal databases and some other services.
In the library building, members of the public can access databases, journals and books without a card. There are three public workstations in the Reference area on the 2nd floor where you can search and use online materials. These terminals do not provide access to the general Internet, and are restricted to library materials.
