How do I check out an eBook?

Answer

There is no need to check out an ebook per se.  Usually there is a "download" option which will allow you to have the text available on your device for (usually) 14 days. If you need it longer, you simply re-download it from the library catalog record.  

If you would like to use a book as assigned reading in class, contact your subject librarian to increase the number of simultaneous users, although the majority of our eBooks are for unlimited simultaneous users.  We are encouraging this use for the 'affordable learning initiative.'
